Linux Kernel Software Developer

Location: Israel, Herzliya
Brief Description: Design, develop, test and support Linux, network device drivers and/or virtualization.
Detailed Description:
As a member of the Oracle Linux and Oracle VM division, you will take an active role in the design, implementation, release, and support for Infiniband device drivers, OFED stacks, and tools for Oracle kernel and OVM. You will work closely with third party device vendor to jointly design and develop software for Oracle products. You will be responsible for the release of the software in good quality and to support the software after its release. You will be working on the leading edge I/O technologies for virtualization. You will perform professional software development in accordance with Oracle standard practices and procedures.
Job Requirements:
For this challenging role you have in-depth experience in the development of Linux Kernel Device Drivers, Xen and Network. You are working since minimum 3.5 years in a Linux Kernel & Networking environment. Know-How in Networking Device Drivers and/or knowledge in Virtualization is a must. Experience in Linux user mode is nice to have. Knowledge of Python is nice to have. B.Sc University Degree (Technion is preferable) is a must.

Additional Details:
You should have a good understanding of virtualization technologies and network stacks. A good background in Infiniband and Solaris/LDoms is preferred.
